Angie Douglass
LLMSW
Angie approaches therapy as a space where people of all ages can feel safe, supported, and understood as they navigate life’s challenges. She works with individuals, couples, and families from childhood through adulthood, with experience supporting children and families in a variety of settings. She has focus on helping kids process trauma, build emotional resilience, and develop healthy ways to understand and express their experiences.
Angie utilizes a blend of therapeutic modalities to meet each client’s individual needs, including Cognitive Behavioral, Narrative, Family Systems, and Psychodynamic approaches. She takes a person-centered, trauma-informed approach with each client and strive to highlight what each individual uniquely brings into therapy. Angie believes therapy works best when it is collaborative, flexible, and tailored to the person sitting in the room.
For clients who are open to Christian Counseling, Angie finds it can be meaningful to explore faith as part of the healing and growth process. Faith-integrated therapy is always client-led and offered as an option, honoring each person’s beliefs, values, and readiness.
